Privacy

The short version: this site keeps almost nothing, and we would rather say exactly what than promise vaguely.

What this site collects

Nothing on its own. There are no accounts, no tracking cookies of ours, and no analytics script of ours on the page.

The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs to run the service: the address a request came from, the page or file it asked for, and the browser it used. We do not add to those logs or use them to identify anyone.

The typefaces are served from this site, so no request goes to a font service.

Listening

If you listen in Apple Podcasts, Spotify or another app, that app's privacy policy governs what it keeps. Our server only sees the request for the audio file.

The newsletter

The signup is run by Resend, which holds the address you give to send you the newsletter and nothing else. Signing up sends one welcome email. Every issue carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.

Email

If you write to hello@thedailyquintet.com we keep the message so we can answer it and, if it is a correction, act on it. We do not add you to any list.

Our social accounts

The show's accounts on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and X post our own clips to our own profiles, some of it by software we run. That software reads nothing about you and collects no data from anyone. It posts, and that is all it does.

Children

The show is made for adults and the site is not directed at children under 13. We knowingly collect nothing from anyone, of any age.
